Welcome to my website

      Hi! I'm Melissa Owen. Thank you for checking out my site. Art Explorations of WNC was birthed out of a desire to invite others to explore artistic expression in a peaceful and creative environment. God has given me the ability to craft and create for His glory and I want to share this ability with you. The studio has been in operation since 2022, though I've been practicing artistic expression through many different mediums since I was a child. Art, to me, is an extension of one of God's characteristics which He has imparted to mankind. By partaking in art, we are partaking in a part of who He is. The best part is, anyone can do it.
       If you have no prior art experience or if you are a professional with many years experience, this studio is open to anyone and everyone! If you're just looking to get together with friends and try something fun and new, or you want to help enrich and develop you or your children's artistic potential, I have classes to fit most everyone's skill level and budget.
